Web 2.0... Now it's talking.
Have you ever been asked this question which goes like: "What's Web 2.0?"
Being asked and like, not sure how to answer?
Well no worries. Web 2.0's doesnt have a exact and perfect defination.
Taking a look back to the time of Web 1.0... it's basically like, webpages are only written by the computing professionals, and all the infos shared are basically one-sided, as the info is provided but rarely with feedback or so on. And most of the world is basically run by the old 56k slow modem (slow in today's term)... This is the early stage of Internet. Kinda dull huh?
Well, the Internet keeps on improve and it reached a stage where normal people like you and I could start to post something on the internet. Now we can share things online and receive feedback of it. Now we can keep in contact with our distant friend constantly, thanks to social network websites such as myspace, friendster, Facebook, etc. This is web 2.0, and this is the new era of Internet.
Funny that we are now utilizing this 'web 2.0' thingy soo much when most of us doesn't even have an idea what it is. LOL.
And about how the word 'web 2.0' sprung to life, Tim O'Reilly brought the word up at a conference... it was mention before that but at the conference the word 'web 2.0' really came in life in everyone in the world. It was said that web 2.0 is referred as "Internet age run by connection speed of 1.0mbps"... Sounds quite true.
Web 3.0 might be coming soon, when the world is literally running with 10mbps connection speed as the general speed. It'll be the age of Video. Haha.

Reflectio
Having wacthed 2 vids about the awkward realationship between technologies and education, i cant help but to think about the issue seriously... (maybe)
Seriously talking, it seems like the educational system is unable to catch up with the fast and ever changing technological world. While e-learning are starting to get more popular, teachers around the world arent able to adapt to it. They still have the old way of teaching as their favorite preferences, as it was much easier.
Talk about the common (old) way of teaching, it's juz like the teacher is spoon-feeding the students with whatever they feel it is neccessary, or according to the official outline, regardless of the student's capabilities and interest. Recently, the more trendy way of teaching is helping the students to learn of their interest, in their own pace, which is much harder when being executed.
Here's the video that are being mentioned. Have a good look at them.
A vision of students today
A vision of K-12 students today
Nothing is gonna be easy, but we wont know what can we achieve or have done before we really try our best at doing so.
It's the nature of human to be lazy or choose the easier way.

A proper intro?
Okay. the 1st post is actually more like a joke, pratically typed out of fun and to fill the blog with something. Bleh.
So far i've managed to find the proper template and the layout for the title (let's hope Square-Enix wont sue me for this). I've decided to put up Sephiroth... because i love the way he's behaving. I known he's a villian but he's just too darn cool to be ignored. XD
Well, I've just gained access to Google Documents... and guess what, it was better than I thought. I don't usually have high expectations for anything related to technologies these days (been having too much dissapointment related mostly to gaming... alot of games are not as good as they are being shown on the trailer).
Having said about that, now that I've got alot to rant about. It seems like alot of game makers is putting too much effort on their game trailers... to the extend where the game was outshone by the trailers... i would prefer there put as much effort on developing the game as like how they put the effort on developing the trailers.
To cut the story short, dont try to have high expectations on some seemingly cool trailers that will put us into awe. Most of the time the game arent as good as it was shown on the trailers.
That's all, for now.
